Why I started

Too many good businesses were invisible online.

I started McLeod Technologies because too many great local businesses are invisible online — or stuck paying monthly for websites they don’t own and can’t control.

Before McLeod, I spent over ten years in banking, working with small-business owners every day. I’ve seen up close how much a business depends on being easy to find and easy to trust — and how often the website is the piece that never gets done.

The owners I build for are busy doing the actual work. Their best photos are on Instagram, most of their customers come by word of mouth, and the website keeps getting pushed to next month. That’s the part I take off their plate.

My approach is simple: build something real first. I’d rather show you a working version of your site than sell you a deck full of promises.

Every project ends the same way: you own the domain, the hosting and the site. If you never need me again, everything keeps working.

I build a working version of your site on a live link you can open on your phone. You decide once you’ve seen the real thing — and two rounds of revisions come with the build.

Your domain, hosting and accounts are registered to you, not to me. I work through collaborator access you can remove whenever you like.

Prices are published on the services page. Anything outside that is quoted and approved before it starts, so there are no surprise invoices.
